Description
The Bergara B-14 Squared Crest Carbon is built for hunters and precision shooters who need a rifle they can carry all day in the field without sacrificing the barrel quality required to shoot .300 PRC at distance. It sits in Bergara’s Premier Series, which puts it above the standard B-14 Hunter and closer to purpose-built custom work in terms of barrel and stock construction.
The barrel is wrapped in carbon fiber over a steel core, which pulls mass away from the tube without compromising rigidity. That combination matters in .300 PRC, a cartridge that generates enough chamber pressure to stress a lighter-profile barrel — the carbon fiber shell stiffens the assembly and helps it return to the same point of aim after each shot as it heats. The barrel is finished in Sniper Gray Cerakote for corrosion resistance, and the muzzle is threaded 5/8×24 with an Omni muzzle brake fitted at the factory to manage the recoil a magnum bolt gun in this caliber naturally produces.
The stock is fixed carbon fiber finished in a Black and Gray Sponge pattern — there is no adjustment to chase, which keeps the chassis light and free of the play that can creep into folding or adjustable designs over time. The receiver is stainless steel, also in Sniper Gray Cerakote, drilled and tapped for a scope base. No iron sights are included, so budget accordingly for a mount and optic. The rifle ships with one five-round AICS-pattern magazine, a format that allows for straightforward aftermarket magazine sourcing if additional capacity is needed.
