The B-14 Wilderness HMR is built for hunters who spend serious time in demanding country and need a rifle that earns its weight rather than just carrying it. Bergara designed this platform around an integrated mini-chassis molded directly into the stock, which gives the action a repeatable mechanical bedding surface rather than relying on bedding compound or pillar work that can shift over seasons of hard use. That consistency is what backs the sub-MOA accuracy guarantee.

The 4140 chrome-moly steel barrel wears a Sniper Grey Cerakote finish that carries across the B-14 action as well, so the entire metal surface has the same corrosion and abrasion resistance rather than leaving the action exposed to different environmental stresses than the barrel. The 1-in-8″ twist rate in 7mm PRC is fast enough to stabilize the long, high-BC projectiles the cartridge is designed around, which means you are not limited to lighter or shorter bullets when conditions or game demand the heaviest options available in the caliber. The 5/8″x24 threaded muzzle accommodates standard suppressors and muzzle devices sized for that pattern, and Bergara fits an Omni Muzzle Brake at the factory.

The B-14 action uses a two-lug bolt with a coned bolt nose and breech that guides cartridges into the chamber smoothly even in cold or dirty conditions where a tight action might hesitate. The AICS-pattern detachable magazine lets you swap in any compatible AICS magazine if you want a higher-capacity option in the field. A Bergara Performance Trigger and a two-position safety round out a package that asks very little of the shooter in terms of aftermarket investment before it is ready to work.
