The Premier Series MgMicro Lite is built for backcountry hunters and precision shooters who refuse to accept weight as an unavoidable cost of accuracy. Every major component has been selected or engineered to reduce mass without compromising the rigidity that consistent shot-to-shot results require.

The chassis is the XLR ATOM Magnesium — an ultralight modular platform that, configured with the carbon fiber buttstock and carbon grip, comes in at 27 ounces for the complete chassis assembly. A machined-in RRS 1.5-inch dovetail runs the length of the forend, giving you a tool-free Arca-Swiss attachment point for tripods and shooting rests without adding a separate rail. A built-in bubble level sits in the same forend, so you can read cant without an additional scope-mounted accessory. The buttstock adjusts at the cheek rest and accepts a LimbSaver recoil pad; M-LOK slots along the forend let you add exactly what you need and nothing more.

The barrel is a CURE carbon-fiber-wrapped unit built around Bergara’s unidirectional high-modulus wrapping process. Carbon wrapped over steel stiffens the barrel harmonics in a way that reduces the variation in point of impact as the barrel heats during a string of fire — a meaningful advantage at distance compared to a bare steel tube of the same profile and weight. The 1-in-8-inch twist rate stabilizes the full range of long, high-BC 6.5mm projectiles, from 130-grain to 147-grain match bullets, without over-stabilizing lighter hunting loads. The muzzle is threaded 5/8×24, sized for the suppressor cans and muzzle brakes most commonly available in this caliber.

The Premier action uses a two-lug bolt with a floating bolt head that self-centers against the lug abutments under firing pressure. A cone-shaped bolt nose guides cartridges smoothly from the AICS-pattern magazine into the chamber. The trigger is a TriggerTech unit built on their Frictionless Release Technology, which eliminates the friction-based sear engagement that introduces creep in conventional designs. Scope bases follow the Remington 700 footprint with 8-40 screws, so a wide range of rings and bases fit without adapters.
