The B-14 Stoke is Bergara’s answer to a compact, field-ready bolt gun built around varmint and predator hunting rather than benchrest competition. It is sized and weighted for hunters who spend long days moving between stands or glassing country before a shot, not for shooters who set up a rifle on a fixed rest and leave it there.

The 1-in-9″ twist rate is the detail that most directly shapes how you use this rifle. That rate stabilizes bullets in the 40- to 55-grain range that .22-250 shooters most commonly reach for—think factory varmint loads with lead-tip or polymer-tip projectiles at high velocity. It is not optimized for the heavier 60- to 77-grain projectiles sometimes used in slower-twist .22-250 builds, so ammunition selection is straightforward: stay in the light-to-mid weight range and the rifle will do its part.

The barrel carries a Graphite Black Cerakote finish, a corrosion-resistant coating that holds up to weather exposure better than bare blued steel and requires less maintenance in the field. The receiver shares the same finish and is machined from steel. The stock is a fixed synthetic with a SoftTouch coating over a black-webbed tan pattern, which improves grip in cold or wet conditions without adding bulk.

At 20 inches, the barrel gives up some velocity compared to a 24-inch tube but makes the rifle noticeably easier to carry through brush and in and out of a truck cab—a trade that varmint hunters working close terrain tend to find worthwhile. The barrel is threaded, which allows the attachment of a muzzle device. The detachable magazine holds four rounds with one in the chamber.
