Description
The BoreSnake is a pull-through bore cleaner built for shooters who want a fast, effective cleaning solution in the field or at the bench without unpacking a full rod-and-patch kit. The design works as a one-pass system: a brass weight drops through the chamber, pulling a flossing section that loosens fouling ahead of a tightly woven cleaning area that scrubs the bore, followed by a long trailing section that polishes as it exits the muzzle. That sequence does in a single pull what a conventional cleaning rod accomplishes across several passes with separate patches and brushes.
This particular model is sized for .40 caliber and 10mm firearms, covering the .400 to .401 bore diameter range. Because both cartridges share the same bore, one BoreSnake handles both without modification. The cord is machine-washable, so accumulated carbon and copper fouling can be cleaned out and the tool reused rather than replaced. The Den storage case keeps the BoreSnake contained between uses and prevents the weighted end from tangling inside a range bag. For a pistol shooter who moves between the range and the field or simply wants to knock down fouling before a thorough cleaning session at home, the format is practical and genuinely fast to deploy.
