The design consolidates what would otherwise be a multi-step process into a single pull through the barrel. A bronze brush is woven into the body of the snake itself, so it contacts and scrubs the bore during the same pass that the floss and tail are doing their work — no separate brush stage, no switching tools.

That tail section matters more than it might appear. Its surface area is substantially larger than a standard cleaning patch, which means more of the residue loosened by the bronze brush gets physically removed rather than just redistributed.
