Description

The BoreSnake Viper Den for .243/6mm rifles is a one-piece bore cleaning system built around the idea that a single deliberate pass should do what a rod-and-patch routine takes several steps to accomplish. A nylon pull cord leads into a bronze brush section that breaks up carbon and fouling, then feeds into a wider flossing tail that wipes the bore clean in the same motion. Because the snake travels muzzle to crown in the direction the bullet exits, it follows the rifling rather than working against it, which matters for preserving the lands over time.

The Viper version adds a third bronze brush relative to the standard BoreSnake, giving the scrubbing section more surface contact on each pass. A brass weight stamped with the caliber is attached to the pull cord so the cord drops through the bore cleanly without fumbling. The Den packaging centers on a hard case whose lid doubles as a grip handle during use, keeping your hands off the fouling-laden snake while you pull. The same case holds everything for storage and range transport. The snake itself is machine washable, so it goes back into service rather than into the trash.
