The BoreSnake Viper with Den is a one-pass bore cleaning tool built for rifle shooters who want to move fast between strings or get a thorough clean done without hauling a full rod kit to the range. It covers .270, 7mm, and .284 caliber rifles, making it useful across a wide range of bolt guns from hunting-weight .270 Win platforms to 7mm magnums.

The design works in a single pull: a weighted brass cord threads through the chamber end, and as you draw it through the bore, an integrated bronze brush scrubs the lands and grooves while a wide floss section behind it picks up the loosened carbon and fouling. The cord is nylon, attached directly to the brushing section with no separate jag or patch to manage. Because the tool travels muzzle-to-breech in the same direction the bullet does, it avoids reversing pressure against the crown or rifling—the same logic that drives the preference for one-direction rod cleaning among precision shooters.

The Viper Den packaging adds a hard plastic case whose lid doubles as a pull handle, giving you a grip that lets you apply steady, controlled tension without the cord cutting into your hand.
