Description

Suppressors run hot enough to ignite clothing, melt nylon, and introduce heat mirage that ruins a precision shot. The Burn Proof Gear Suppressor Cover Heavy exists to solve all three of those problems at once, and it does so with a two-piece construction that is worth understanding before you buy.

The outer shell is built from DuPont Kevlar, which holds up to 1,000°F — roughly the heat generated by 180 rounds of M855 fired continuously. That outer layer handles the contact hazard: no more scorched pants, burned hands during a transition, or melted gear from an incidental brush. Beneath it sits a fiberglass mesh inner liner rated to 2,000°F. This specific dimension is what produces the no-slip retention without any additional hardware. For this variant, that means it fits a suppressor measuring 1.5 inches in diameter, and once installed, the total outside diameter stays at or under 1.75 inches — narrow enough to avoid clearance problems in most holsters and cases designed around standard-diameter cans.
