The Pro designation marks a specific generation of the APC9 platform, and its defining mechanical changes center on the charging handle: a dual auto-folding, non-reciprocating design that presents a handle on both sides of the receiver. Non-reciprocating means the handle stays put when the bolt cycles, so it cannot snag a support hand or shift your grip under fire. The ambidextrous bolt hold-open and release are positioned on the side of the lower receiver rather than at a traditional paddle location, which is a deliberate ergonomic choice for shooters transitioning from pistol muscle memory.

The lower receiver accepts standard B&T magazines as well as Glock-pattern and SIG P320 magazines, which broadens your ammunition-feeding options without adapters. M-Lok slots run along the handguard, so light and grip accessories mount directly without a rail riser adding height. The polymer flip-up sights fold flat when a red dot or optic goes on top, and the ambidextrous safety is fully functional from either side without a dedicated setting change.
