Description
The B&T Telescopic Stock is built for MP5 and MP5SD operators who want a compact, length-adjustable shoulder stock without the limitations of the original H&K telescoping design. Where the factory H&K telescopic stock locks only in the fully collapsed and fully extended positions, this B&T unit adjusts across five discrete positions, giving the shooter meaningful choices for different kit configurations and shooting stances rather than a binary collapsed-or-extended compromise.
Deployment is handled without pressing any external levers — the stock extends and self-locks under its own mechanism, which matters in situations where a free hand or fine motor control is not guaranteed. The adjustment span of 176 mm across those five positions covers a practical range from a close-quarters compressed profile to a full-length cheekweld for aimed fire.
Construction is aluminum and steel throughout, and the stock ships with an elastomer buffer included. The aluminum-and-steel combination keeps weight manageable — approximately 500 g — while maintaining the structural rigidity that a receiver-mounted stock demands under recoil. The elastomer buffer cushions rearward impulse at the shoulder without adding mechanical complexity.
One practical note for builders working with MP5-pattern semi-automatic hosts: the B&T stock is an option where the H&K unit binds in the receiver channels on certain clones, because the B&T design tolerates minor dimensional variation in those side rails that the OEM stock does not.
