Description
The Daniel Defense Mil Spec+ Buttstock, Pistol Grip, and Vertical Foregrip Combo is a straightforward furniture upgrade for AR-platform rifles built around a mil-spec receiver extension. It suits shooters who want a cohesive, purpose-designed set of components rather than mixing parts from different manufacturers, and who want the fit and finish to hold up under serious use.
The buttstock is built from a glass-infused polymer blend and fitted with soft-touch rubber overmolding at contact points. It is precision-formed to mil-spec receiver extension dimensions, which eliminates the lateral and forward slop common when mixing stocks and tubes from different sources — no tensioning device or friction lock required. Two interchangeable buttpads are included: a thicker convex pad at 0.8 inches and a thinner concave pad at 0.5 inches. The concave profile is designed specifically to avoid catching on gear when shouldering the rifle. Ambidextrous limited-rotation QD sling attachment points are built into both sides of the stock, so sling transitions do not require repositioning hardware.
The pistol grip is angled to match the grip angle of a 1911 pistol rather than the steeper A2 geometry, which places the wrist in a more neutral position during firing. An oversized integral trigger guard bridges the gap between grip and lower receiver — a gap that can irritate bare hands and close out gloved ones — and because the guard is integral, installation requires no roll pin and carries no risk of cracking the lower during fitting.
The vertical foregrip adds soft-touch overmolding for wet-weather purchase and includes a dual O-ring sealed storage compartment inside the grip body. It mounts to any 1913 Picatinny rail and is not compatible with KeyMod or M-Lok systems.
