Description

Shooters running a Glock 43X or 48 MOS who want to mount a Trijicon RMRcc face a straightforward problem: the factory MOS cut accepts a different footprint than the compact RMRcc. This adapter plate from C&H Precision solves that without sending the slide to a machinist. It drops into the existing MOS recess and provides the correct mounting pattern for the RMRcc, keeping the overall package slim — which matters on a pistol this size, where every millimeter of added height affects holster fit and draw consistency.

The plate itself is machined from 6061 aluminum and finished in MIL-SPEC Type III hard anodize, the same black hard-coat specification used on military components. That process impregnates the surface rather than coating it, so it won’t flake or peel under the contact pressure that builds between a mounted optic and its plate over sustained shooting. All fasteners are stainless steel, and the T-nut design gives the optic mounting screws substantially more thread engagement than a tapped aluminum hole would — important because small-diameter optic screws in aluminum are a known weak point when torqued repeatedly during zeroing adjustments or field removal.

The kit includes the plate, M4 plate mounting screws for securing it to the slide, 4-40 screws sized for the RMRcc’s mounting holes, and the patented stainless T-nuts. Because the hardware is replaceable, a stripped or damaged fastener means replacing that screw, not the entire plate. C&H recommends dry-fitting all components before final installation to account for normal tolerance variation between individual slides, optics, and plates — straightforward advice worth following before applying thread locker.
