Description

The Springfield Armory Echelon’s optic mounting system is designed to accept a wide range of footprints without a plate, but that flexibility comes with a practical drawback: smaller closed-emitter optics like the Holosun EPS and EPS Carry leave noticeable gaps at the front and rear of the mounting area. This C&H Precision adapter plate is machined to close those gaps, giving the optic a flush, fully supported seating rather than leaving it bridging empty space on the slide.

Beyond aesthetics, the fit matters for function. A properly filled mounting surface transfers recoil forces more evenly across the optic’s footprint instead of concentrating stress at the screw points alone. The plate is machined from aluminum and finished with an anodized coating, and it ships with the hardware needed for installation. C&H Precision recommends dry-fitting all components before committing to final torque, since tolerance stack-up between the slide, plate, and optic can vary from one combination to the next.

One practical note: if you plan to run backup iron sights alongside the EPS or EPS Carry, the correct sight height for co-witness depends on your specific combination of slide cut, plate, and optic. That calculation should be confirmed before purchasing sights. This plate is compatible with both the full-size EPS and the smaller EPS Carry on the Echelon platform specifically.
