Description
The C&H Precision adapter plate for the Smith & Wesson M&P M2.0 C.O.R.E. exists to solve a straightforward problem: the M2.0 C.O.R.E. platform ships with a factory optics cut, but that cut does not natively accept the Holosun 407K or 507K footprint without an intermediary. This plate bridges that gap, letting you mount either optic directly to the slide without sending it out for milling.
C&H machines the plate from 6061 aluminum, which keeps the mounting interface rigid without adding meaningful weight to the slide assembly. All mounting hardware is stainless steel, which matters here because the screws are under cyclic stress every time the slide reciprocates — a material that resists corrosion and maintains clamping force over time is the right choice for that application. The plate thickness runs .095″ to .099″, which is what C&H designates as their MIL/LEO specification — a tighter dimensional window than a general-use part, intended to minimize any play between the plate and the slide’s existing bosses.
Included hardware consists of three 6-32 x .500 M3H plate mounting screws. Having a third screw matters in practice: if you re-torque and strip one during a range session, you are not grounded until a replacement arrives. C&H also sells a dedicated replacement screw kit for this plate if you want a full backup set on hand.
Compatibility covers the S&W M&P M2.0 C.O.R.E. in both full-size and compact configurations. On the optic side, it supports the Holosun 407K, 507K, EPS, and EPS Carry. The plate is designed, machined, and inspected at C&H’s facility in Richmond Hill, Georgia.
