Description
The Cloud Defensive REIN Single Momentary Switch is built for shooters who run white light on a weapon system and want dedicated momentary-only control without the added bulk of a multi-function switch. Every press activates the REIN light; the instant you release pressure, the light goes off. There is no constant-on mode, no toggle sequence to navigate, and no accidental sustained illumination — the behavior is entirely dictated by physical contact with the button. That simplicity matters when the decision to activate and deactivate light needs to be immediate and unambiguous.
The low-profile form factor is a deliberate design choice. A smaller switch body leaves more real estate on the handguard for support-hand positioning, optic mounts, or other accessories, and it keeps the overall rail setup cleaner than a larger dual-function unit would allow. The companion product to this switch — the REIN Dual Button Switch (CD2310-A-BLK) — adds constant-on capability at the cost of a larger footprint; this single-button version trades that function for a more compact profile.
The switch is finished in Black and is designed specifically for Cloud Defensive REIN weapon lights. It does not add constant-on capability to an existing setup — if that function is a requirement, a different switch model is the right answer. For shooters whose doctrine calls for momentary-only light discipline, this switch matches that approach in hardware rather than relying on technique to avoid holding the button too long on a unit not designed for it.
