Description
Building or rebuilding an AR-15 lower requires tracking down a lot of small, interdependent parts, and sourcing them piecemeal invites mismatched tolerances and missing detents. CMMG’s lower parts kit solves that by putting every internal component needed to complete a stripped lower receiver into a single package, organized in color-coded bags so assembly stays methodical rather than chaotic.
The kit is built to mil-spec dimensions, which means every part is designed to interface correctly with any mil-spec AR-15 lower receiver — a practical consideration whether you’re doing a first-time build or replacing worn components in an existing rifle. The included A2 pistol grip gives you a known, neutral geometry to build from; if you later decide a different grip angle suits your stance better, swapping it out is straightforward. The trigger ships with a conventional single-stage pull in the six to six-and-a-half pound range, which keeps things predictable during the build and gives you a clear baseline for evaluating whether an upgraded trigger group later makes a measurable difference in your shooting.
Every pin, detent, spring, and screw required for the lower assembly is accounted for — bolt catch hardware, buffer retainer, magazine catch components, selector and its detent, pivot and takedown pins with their respective detents and springs, and the trigger group in full. Nothing is left to a separate order. For a builder who wants a clean, complete foundation without hunting down individual small parts, this kit covers the lower from the grip to the takedown pins.
