Description

The Cole-TAC Metal Python suppressor cover is built for shooters who run their suppressors hard and need the tube protected from contact burns and heat buildup during extended strings of fire. It draws on the design language of Cole-TAC’s Python line, pairing metal buckles with BOA straps — the same dial-tension strap system borrowed from performance footwear — to hold the cover snugly against the suppressor body without the slippage or shift that flat hook-and-loop closures can develop as material heats up.

The six-inch length is sized to cover suppressors designed for shorter host configurations without excess material bunching at the muzzle end. The BOA system lets you cinch the fit precisely rather than guessing at which hook-and-loop position is tight enough, and it releases quickly when the cover needs to come off. The cover accommodates suppressors ranging from one to two inches in diameter, which spans most pistol and intermediate-caliber cans commonly paired with these barrel lengths.

At 2.2 ounces the cover adds negligible weight to the host package. The MultiCam pattern — Cole-TAC calls this colorway MCAM — works across the mixed terrain and lighting conditions that pattern was designed for. The cover is rated to 1,800 degrees Fahrenheit, which provides meaningful margin above the surface temperatures a suppressor reaches during realistic-volume shooting before it needs to cool.
