Description
The Daniel Defense MFR™ 15.0 M-LOK® Rail is built for shooters who want a full-length free-floating handguard without adding unnecessary bulk to their build. At 15 inches, it gives you enough real estate to push accessories well forward of the gas block, which is useful for running a light or laser at the 12 o’clock or side positions without crowding your support hand. The free-floating design keeps the barrel isolated from any pressure applied to the handguard, which matters for practical accuracy at distance.
The rail is machined from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in Military Specification Type III Hard Coat Anodize — a finish hard enough to resist the kind of contact wear that comes from field use and regular handling. Daniel Defense’s patented Bolt-Up System uses a steel barrel nut and grade 8 military-specification fasteners, which keeps the rail diameter slim enough to get a natural grip without your hand riding a wide tube. Anti-rotation tabs index the handguard during installation and prevent any creep over time.
M-LOK slots appear at seven positions around the rail, so you have real flexibility about where accessories go without committing to a heavier Picatinny-everywhere design. The full-length uninterrupted 1913 Picatinny rail on top lets you mount a long optic or anything that needs a continuous rail surface. Ambidextrous sling attachment points are built into both side rails, so you are not relying on an add-on swivel mount for your sling anchor. The barrel nut wrench and Allen wrench needed for installation ship with the rail. Compatible with pinned low-profile gas blocks across pistol, carbine, mid-length, and rifle-length gas systems.
