DISSENT MK47 7.62X39 16.1″ MB 30RD

Description

The CMMG DISSENT Mk47 is built for shooters who want the ergonomic familiarity of an AR platform without giving up the 7.62x39mm cartridge or the proven reliability of AK-pattern magazines. It is the right choice for anyone who has spent time with AK-fed rifles but prefers ambidextrous controls, an adjustable stock, and a handguard system that accepts standard accessories.

The bufferless operating system is the defining engineering decision here. By eliminating the buffer tube entirely, CMMG’s DISSENT action allows the side-folding stock to lock the rifle into a genuinely compact configuration — something a conventional AR buffer-tube arrangement cannot do. The stock itself adjusts for both length of pull and cheek height, which matters when moving between a bare receiver and a suppressor-height sight picture without swapping components.

The adjustable gas block lets you tune dwell time to match your ammunition or account for the back-pressure introduced when shooting with a suppressor attached. Getting that balance right reduces bolt velocity, which directly affects felt recoil and the wear rate on the bolt carrier group over time. The 1:10″ twist rate is optimized for the range of projectile weights most commonly loaded in 7.62x39mm, favoring standard 123–124 grain bullets rather than the heavier projectiles that a slower twist would be needed to stabilize.

Up front, the forward-mounted non-reciprocating charging handle keeps your support hand clear of the action during cycling and allows manipulation without breaking your firing grip or shifting your eye off an optic. The M-LOK handguard with a full-length top Picatinny rail gives you a flat mounting surface for optics and accessories without adding unnecessary bulk. The Zeroed drop-in single-stage trigger and CMMG’s Zeroed pistol grip round out a package that is cohesive rather than assembled from mismatched components.
