This load pairs a 1-1/8 oz charge of #7.5 lead shot with a progressive-burning powder that keeps pressure curves smooth, which translates to more predictable patterns and less cumulative fatigue over a long round. The #7.5 shot size hits a practical balance for clay work: enough pellets in the pattern to break targets reliably at moderate distances, without the payload penalty of going heavier.

The shot itself is magnum-grade and multi-screened, meaning oversized or deformed pellets are sorted out before loading. Fewer fliers in the shot column means tighter, more uniform patterns at the target. The perforated wad is engineered specifically for this load — it controls the shot column through the bore and then peels away cleanly, which keeps the payload together longer before the pattern opens.
