Description

The Geissele Super SCAR is a drop-in two-stage trigger built specifically for the FN SCAR 16S and 17S platforms, and it addresses the one consistent criticism of an otherwise capable rifle: the factory trigger. Where the stock SCAR trigger is a serviceable combat component tuned for durability under rough handling, the Super SCAR is tuned for deliberate, precise shot placement without sacrificing the forgiveness that close-range work demands.

The two-stage design separates the pull into a defined first stage and a cleaner second stage break. That staging lets a shooter take up the slack, settle on a target, and complete the shot with a short, predictable wall rather than guessing when a single-stage trigger will release. The first stage absorbs minor trigger disturbances during movement or position changes; the second stage delivers the precision. Total pull weight runs 3.2 to 4.6 pounds across the pull range, with the first stage accounting for roughly two to 2.8 pounds and the second stage adding 1.2 to 1.8 pounds. Nothing in that range is adjustable — Geissele built the Super SCAR as a fixed-geometry trigger, which keeps performance consistent and removes variables that can shift under field conditions.

The trigger bow is M4 curved and made from tool steel with a black oxide finish. Pin size is mil-spec. Installation is straightforward for anyone comfortable with SCAR disassembly, and the design is specific to FN trigger housings — Geissele voids the warranty if the trigger is fitted to a non-FN housing. For SCAR owners doing mid-range precision work or running the rifle in any role where shot timing matters, this is the functional upgrade the platform was missing from the factory.
