Description

The Ghost MOAB — Mother of All Baseplates — is a magazine baseplate replacement built for Glock 17 and 22 shooters who need more rounds on tap without switching to a larger-frame pistol. Fitting standard OEM Glock magazines for those models, it adds six rounds of capacity through a polymer extension that replaces the factory baseplate entirely. The design is straightforward: the baseplate drops in using the existing retention system, so there are no permanent modifications and no specialized tools required.

Two practical details separate this from a simple capacity increase. The baseplate incorporates flared finger grooves along its lower edge, giving you a positive grip point when stripping a magazine under stress — something the flush factory baseplate does not offer. The contoured profile is also shaped to help guide the magazine into the well cleanly, which matters during a fast reload when a squared-off extension can hang on the magwell lip. A higher-rate spring is included to ensure reliable feeding at the increased stack length; using the factory spring with a longer-than-stock column is a known source of feed failures, so Ghost addresses that in the box rather than leaving it to the shooter to sort out.

The extension is polymer construction finished in black. It fits the full-size Glock 17 and 22 platform, and confirmed compatibility extends to the Glock 17L, 19X, 24, 31, 34, 35, 37, and 46 — all of which share the same magazine body. It is designed for Glock OEM magazines only; aftermarket magazine bodies using different baseplate retention geometry are not compatible.
