The barrel uses a rotating locking mechanism rather than the tilting-barrel geometry found in most polymer-framed striker pistols. A rotating barrel keeps the bore axis more consistently aligned during the locking and unlocking cycle, which tends to reduce the lateral force component that contributes to muzzle flip — a meaningful trade-off for anyone shooting quickly or training for accuracy under time pressure.
