Description

The HUXWRX Flash Hider-QD is a muzzle device built for shooters who want to run a suppressor when the situation calls for it and remove it just as quickly when it does not. The quick-detach mounting system is the defining feature here: rather than threading a suppressor directly onto the muzzle, the Flash Hider-QD serves as a permanent host that the suppressor locks onto and releases from without tools, keeping transitions fast and repeatable.

When used unsuppressed, the device does actual work rather than sitting idle. The geometry is designed to reduce visible muzzle flash, which matters in low-light conditions where a full fireball disrupts night vision or reveals position. The 5/8×24 thread pitch seats the device on barrels already cut for that standard, and the 2.3-inch body adds 1.7 inches of net length over a barrel with standard thread engagement depth — a meaningful consideration when working against overall length constraints.

Suppressor compatibility is broad but not universal, so it is worth mapping against your existing or intended can. The Flash Hider-QD mates directly with HUXWRX HX-QD series suppressors — including the 6k, 762, 762 Ti, and Magnum Ti — and the FLOW series 6k and 762 Ti. Owners of VENTUM series suppressors can also use this mount, but doing so requires the separate HUX HUB Adapter rather than a direct connection.
