Description

The HUB Stiction Lock Adapter solves a specific compatibility problem: it lets suppressors built on HUXWRX’s HUB mounting platform attach to Dead Air Xeno muzzle devices. If you already run Xeno-compatible brakes or compensators and want to add a HUB-based suppressor to the same host, this adapter bridges the two systems without requiring you to swap out the muzzle device you have already zeroed around.

The adapter is machined from 17-4 stainless steel, a grade chosen for its combination of hardness and corrosion resistance under the heat and pressure that cycling suppressor gas produces. The stiction lock mechanism — rather than a traditional locking lever or ratchet — relies on controlled friction to secure the suppressor in position. This keeps the engagement simple and low-profile while resisting the rotational forces that repeated firing generates.

The 1.375x24mm thread pattern is the interface between the adapter and the suppressor body, a format common across HUB-compatible cans. On the muzzle-device side, the adapter mates directly to Xeno-pattern interfaces, which are currently found on a range of Dead Air muzzle devices. HUXWRX also notes compatibility with the Stiction Lock Comp 556 in 1/2×28, giving shooters on that host an integrated option within the same product family.
