Description
The Infitac PM03 is built for shooters who run a primary optic and need a thermal or backup sight accessible without breaking their firing position. Mounting at a 45-degree offset from a standard Picatinny rail, it lets you roll the rifle slightly and immediately acquire the offset sight, rather than removing your primary optic or switching platforms. That angle is the core trade-off of this design: you give up a perfectly co-witnessed zero, but you gain the ability to keep both optics mounted simultaneously and transition between them in a fraction of a second.
The mount is designed to interface with an RMR footprint, making it compatible with a broad range of compact optics that share that pattern. It can be installed on either the left or right side of the rail, which matters for shooters who support from either shoulder or who need to manage real estate on a crowded rail setup. Machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, the mount keeps weight down without sacrificing the rigidity needed to hold a consistent zero under recoil. At 2.49 ounces, it adds minimal mass to the overall build. The mount attaches to any standard 1913 Picatinny rail, so it works across rifles, shotguns, and other platforms running that rail standard.
This is a purpose-built tool for anyone pairing a thermal optic or a red dot as a secondary sight — particularly useful in situations where a magnified primary optic becomes impractical at close range.
