Description

The InfiTac PM01 is a quick-detach Picatinny rail mount designed to accept optics with an RMR footprint. Its purpose is straightforward: if you run a Picatinny-railed platform and want to mount a red dot or thermal pistol sight that uses the Trijicon RMR pattern, this adapter bridges that gap without requiring permanent modification to your receiver or rail system.

The quick-release mechanism is the practical core of the design. Rather than threading down a series of bolts each time you swap optics, the QD lever lets you break down and re-mount the optic quickly—useful when moving a thermal or red dot between host platforms or stowing the optic separately from the firearm. The RMR footprint is one of the more widely adopted mounting standards for compact red dots and small thermal sights, so the PM01 accommodates a meaningful range of optics beyond just InfiTac’s own lineup.

The mount is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, an alloy chosen for its strength-to-weight ratio. At 2.65 ounces, it adds minimal mass to the host setup. The Picatinny interface locks into standard MIL-STD-1913 rail slots, so fitment is consistent across compliant rifles, shotguns, and handgun-mounted rail accessories. The PM01 is finished in black and ships as a single mount unit. If your application calls for a different interface—such as a 30mm ring, an Aimpoint Acro pattern, or a 45-degree offset—InfiTac offers those as separate models in the same PM-series lineup.
