The K-SPEC Enhanced AR15 Bolt from KAK Industry addresses one of the more persistent reliability concerns in the AR15 platform: inconsistent ejection. A standard mil-spec bolt uses a single ejector, which means ejection timing and pattern vary with ammunition pressure, gas timing, and buffer weight. The K-SPEC replaces that with a dual ejector arrangement — two mil-spec ejectors and springs working in tandem — so the force applied to the case head at the moment of ejection is more consistent across a wider range of conditions. The result is a more predictable ejection pattern and a meaningful reduction in the kind of forward or erratic ejection that often sends builders chasing buffer weights and gas adjustments.
KAK positioned the ejector holes to fall centered on the bolt lugs rather than cutting into lug geometry, which preserves the structural integrity of the bolt body. The bolt itself is machined from 9310 steel, with outside diameters ground to tight dimensional tolerances, and carries a magnetic particle inspection certification. The extractor is 4140 steel with a phosphate finish, while both the ejector and extractor pin are S7 tool steel — a grade chosen for toughness and impact resistance in small, highly stressed components. The phosphate finish on the bolt body provides baseline corrosion resistance without adding meaningful dimensional thickness.
This is a bolt only, not a complete bolt carrier group, so it drops in as a replacement or upgrade within any standard mil-spec AR15 BCG. It is fully backward compatible with standard mil-spec carrier components, and no proprietary parts are required to maintain or service it. Compatible with both 5.56 and 300 Blackout, it suits builders running either caliber on a direct impingement platform.
