Description

The Plan B A7 Flash Hider from KAK Industry is built around a specific problem: getting a suppressor to mount the same way every time. The Plan B system uses a tapered interface followed by threads, so each time the suppressor hub seats against the muzzle device, it indexes to the same position and creates a consistent seal. That repeatability matters because any gap or misalignment at the junction bleeds gas and degrades suppressor performance over time.

The A7 profile eliminates timing during installation, which removes one variable from the process entirely. The rear of the device is milled with 13/16-inch flats, so you can drive it with a standard wrench rather than a proprietary tool. KAK specifies installation with Rocksett and 20–25 ft-lbs of torque — enough to hold position under sustained fire without making removal a destructive exercise.

Construction is 17-4 stainless steel with a Nitride finish. The 17-4 alloy provides the tensile strength needed to handle the mechanical stress of repeated suppressor attachment cycles, and Nitride adds surface hardness and corrosion resistance without meaningfully adding weight. At 2.2 ounces and 1.850 inches in overall length, with a .710-inch protrusion beyond the muzzle, the device adds minimal length to the host firearm. The thread pitch is engraved directly on the body, which prevents installation errors when you are working with multiple devices across different thread patterns. This variant threads onto a 1/2-28 barrel and is bored for .375, covering .223 and 9mm applications.
