Description

The KAK Industry Plan B Radial Brake is built for shooters running .308 Winchester or 7.62 NATO who want meaningful recoil management without adding bulk to the end of their barrel. A radial port arrangement vents propellant gas outward along multiple axes, which pushes the muzzle down and back against the direction of rise rather than simply bleeding pressure to the sides. The result is a brake that works without creating the kind of lateral concussive blast that punishes anyone positioned next to you on a bench or in a bay.

The 5/8×24 thread pitch is standard for .308-class barrels, and the .375-inch bore gives adequate clearance for the projectile while keeping the port geometry close enough to the bore to do real work. Construction is 17-4 stainless steel with a nitride finish, which handles the heat and corrosive byproducts of high-volume fire without requiring additional protection. Wrench flats milled at 13/16 inches let you torque it down properly without improvising a grip.

Where this brake earns its designation is the Plan B hub interface. The body is machined to accept KAK’s Plan B suppressor attachment system, so if you later add a compatible suppressor, the brake serves as the mount rather than something you have to remove and replace. That makes it a functional standalone muzzle device now and a host component later, without any modification to the brake itself.
