Description
The Lantac Dragon DGN300B-WM is a muzzle brake built for .300 Blackout shooters who want meaningful recoil reduction alongside a direct path to running a Dead Air Wolfman suppressor. It handles both roles through a single device rather than requiring a separate mount, which keeps the overall package shorter and eliminates the stack of adapters that can introduce alignment problems.
The brake’s Short Energy Pulse system works by venting gas in a pattern timed to cut the recoil impulse short before it can fully develop. The practical result is that the muzzle returns to position faster between shots, which matters most during rapid or sustained fire when a sluggish return compounds across the string. The KEYMO interface is a fully licensed Dead Air design, meaning it mates directly with the Wolfman’s own locking geometry and leaves the suppressor’s factory warranty intact — no third-party adapters involved.
Construction starts with AISI 4150 steel machined on Swiss lathes, then hardened to 48–52 Rc before receiving a QPQ nitride treatment processed to AMS2753D standards. That surface treatment builds corrosion resistance into the steel itself rather than sitting on top of it as a coating, which holds up better under the heat and fouling concentrated at the muzzle. Each unit is serial numbered at the factory. The brake ships with a timing shim set for proper clocking on a 5/8-24 threaded barrel. Lantac recommends Rocksett thread locker for installation; it is sold separately.
