Description

Lantac’s M-Spec Gas Tube is a straightforward, well-made replacement or build component for AR-15 rifles running an intermediate-length gas system. It suits builders and owners who want a domestic, quality-controlled part without paying a premium for exotic features they don’t need.

The tube is precision-extruded from 303 stainless steel, which resists the corrosive effects of propellant gases better than carbon steel and maintains its dimensions under repeated heat cycling. That dimensional stability matters because the gas tube is the bridge between the gas block and the bolt carrier group — any inconsistency in bore diameter or straightness shows up immediately as cycling problems. Lantac laser-engraves the tube rather than stamping or printing markings, so there’s nothing to wear off or create a raised edge that could interfere with handguard fitment.

Each tube ships with a gas tube roll pin, so you’re not hunting for hardware separately before the build can move forward. At 13.660 inches in length, this tube fits the majority of intermediate gas system setups, but Lantac notes it will not fit the Wilson Combat intermediate configuration, which calls for a shorter 13.286-inch tube. If your barrel and handguard combination is anything other than a standard intermediate setup, confirm the required tube length before ordering — intermediate is not a universal dimension across all manufacturers.
