The Lantac Spada is a free-float handguard built for AR-15 owners who want a rigid, low-profile platform without excess weight pulling the balance point forward. Lantac machines it from 6005A-T6 aluminum, an alloy chosen for its strength-to-weight ratio, and applies a Type 3 Hardcoat Anodize with a Class 2 Deep Black finish — a treatment that goes significantly deeper into the metal than standard Type 2 anodizing, improving wear resistance at the contact points that take the most abuse from barricades, slings, and repeated accessory swaps.

The 15-inch length gives shooters running mid-length or rifle-length gas systems room to push their support hand well forward, which lowers the effective angle of the support arm and reduces fatigue during extended holds. M-Lok slots run at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions, so accessories mount directly to the handguard body rather than to a rail adapter, keeping the overall profile slim and eliminating the rocking that can develop in stacked adapter systems. A full-length Picatinny rail sits at the 12 o’clock position for optics and iron sights that need a continuous surface.
