CMMG’s Mk4/AR15 .22 LR magazine in Flat Dark Earth is built specifically for shooters running CMMG’s conversion system in a standard mil-spec AR15 lower receiver. The point of a dedicated .22 LR conversion magazine is that the rimfire cartridge’s geometry and feeding angle are genuinely different from centerfire, so a purpose-designed magazine handles stacking and presentation more reliably than adapters or improvised solutions. This one is sized to match a standard curved 30-round USGI-profile magazine, which means it seats and drops free from the magwell the same way your centerfire magazines do — no relearning the manual of arms.

The polymer body keeps weight down, which matters when you are running a suppressed rimfire setup or spending a long session on the range where every ounce adds up. The 25-round capacity gives you a meaningful amount of trigger time between reloads without pushing the magazine length to the point where it interferes with prone or bench shooting. Because the body is polymer throughout, it is also straightforward to disassemble for cleaning — rimfire fouling builds up quickly, and a magazine you can fully strip is one you will actually maintain.

The Flat Dark Earth finish is CMMG’s own color designation, matched to the rest of their FDE-finished firearms and conversion components, so if you are building a color-coordinated setup around a CMMG conversion kit or an FDE-finished lower, this drops in without breaking the aesthetic.
