This 5-round magazine is chambered for .30-06 Springfield and is sized at 3.560 inches in length, which makes it the correct choice for Tikka T3/T3x and Savage Axis long-action chassis builds — not the standard 3.715-inch well found in most other MDT chassis configurations. Getting that length right matters: installing a magazine that is too long for the well will prevent the action from closing, while one that is too short can cause inconsistent feeding under the bolt.
