Description
When you need more rounds without swapping magazines, this factory Sig Sauer MPX magazine gives you 35 rounds of 9mm on tap in a single load. It is a direct OEM replacement, built to the same specifications Sig uses for production MPX firearms, which means fit and function match what the gun was designed around from the start.
The body is polymer, chosen for its combination of low weight and resistance to deformation under the pressures of a fully loaded stack. Where polymer alone would eventually give way under hard use, Sig reinforced the feed lips with metal — the point in any magazine where wear and damage most often translate into feeding failures. Keeping the feed lips metal while the body stays polymer is a deliberate trade-off: you get the weight savings of the polymer chassis without sacrificing the dimensional stability that reliable chambering depends on.
The follower is a high-visibility polymer design, paired with a high-tensile steel spring. The spring tension has to stay consistent across the full range of the stack — from the first round down to the last — because a weakening stack can cause the bolt to outrun the next round on a fast-firing platform like the MPX. The steel spring maintains that tension through sustained use. Aggressive texturing on the exterior of the body gives you a positive purchase during reloads, which matters more when conditions are less than ideal.
A removable baseplate makes field stripping and cleaning straightforward. This magazine is compatible with all generations of the Sig MPX chambered in 9mm.
