The Magpul DAKA Essential Wallet is built for the person who has decided that a traditional billfold is carrying more than it should. The premise is straightforward: identify the cards you actually reach for every day, carry those, and leave everything else at home. The result is a wallet that disappears in a front pocket rather than printing through a back one.

Construction is reinforced polymer fabric — the same material philosophy Magpul applies across the DAKA line — with an anti-slip texture that keeps cards from sliding free and resists the chemicals and moisture that degrade fabric wallets over time. The seams are RF welded rather than stitched, which eliminates the thread that typically fails first and gives the wallet its notably thin profile. Rounded corners mean it enters and exits a pocket cleanly without catching on fabric.

The layout separates cards by type. The single front pocket, marked with the logo, takes ID and access cards. The back carries two pockets: the top for credit cards, the lower for folded bills when you need to carry cash. The wallet handles three to seven standard cards comfortably depending on how you distribute them. At 3mm thick, it adds almost nothing to what you’re already carrying.
