Description

The Magpul DAKA GRID Organizer is built for shooters who transport precision rifles, suppressed builds, or any long-format configuration that outgrows a standard case interior. It replaces the factory foam in a Pelican V770 Vault with a modular EPP system that holds gear through compression rather than a one-time destructive cut, so the layout can be changed between trips without losing the insert entirely.

EPP — expanded polypropylene — resists moisture, oil, and chemical absorption in a way that open-cell foam does not. Where foam wicks up solvent and begins to break down at the contact surface, EPP stays dry and structurally intact, keeping the bore and finish of whatever rests against it away from contaminated material. The interlocking Triple and Double Blocks adjust tool-free, so repositioning a rifle or swapping in a different optic setup takes seconds rather than requiring a new foam block or a knife.

The precision fit is specific to the V770’s interior dimensions, which means the panel sits flush across the full length of the case without the edge gaps that come with generic inserts sized to approximate fit. Six Triple Blocks and six Double Blocks are included, along with replacement base foam to complete the installation. The center panel can be modified to open a cavity up to approximately 4.25 inches wide, accommodating suppressors, large objective lenses, or other oversize components without losing the surrounding block retention.
