Description
The Magpul DAKA Range Bag in Small is built for shooters who want a purpose-engineered bag that holds up to the actual conditions of a range day rather than just looking the part in a gear photo. The shell combines DAKA Grit, a 600D TPU-coated nylon, with DAKA Dura, an 840D TPU-coated nylon, for a construction that resists moisture and abrasion without relying on fabric treatments that wear off over time. RF-welded seams eliminate the stitched needle holes that let water track inward, and dual YKK Aquaguard zippers keep the closure line equally sealed against weather and range grime.
At 20 liters, the bag is sized to carry a meaningful load without becoming unwieldy. The main compartment includes two sets of four elastic retention loops, giving you organized storage for up to eight magazines, along with a stretch mesh-gusseted pocket and a hook-and-loop lined wall for attaching accessories. The external magazine wall under the main lid carries four stretch woven pockets — two sized for AR-10 or short-action AICS PMAGs, two sized for GLOCK PMAGs or AMAGs — plus a zippered mesh slip pocket. A document pocket on the reverse side of that wall gives you a place to keep paperwork or targets flat and protected.
The bottom is structured Hypalon reinforced with a layer of compressed foam, so the bag holds its shape and sits stable on a bench. Stowable sling mounting plates on each side accept QD sockets, Para clips, or MASH hooks, letting you shoulder-carry a fully loaded bag without fighting improvised attachment points. An RF-welded DAKA ID card slot and a dot matrix panel on the exterior round out a design that treats organization as a functional requirement rather than an afterthought.
