The Magpul DAKA Soft Rifle Case is built for shooters who need reliable protection without the weight and bulk of a hard case — whether moving between vehicles, heading to a match, or keeping a rifle ready for a range day. Its semi-rigid construction gives the case enough structure to guard against incidental impacts while staying light and flexible enough to stow in tight spaces.

The shell is made from DAKA Grit material, which Magpul describes as a 600D Kiss-Coat TPU construction. That combination resists water and abrasion without adding unnecessary weight, and it holds up to the kind of repeated handling and rough storage conditions that would wear out standard nylon cases quickly. The two external zippers are YKK Aquaguard units — a waterproof-rated zipper designed for environments where moisture intrusion is a genuine concern — fitted with 550 cord pulls that stay grippy even with gloves on.

Inside, four stretch mesh pockets are sized and positioned to hold up to eight PMAG-sized magazines, keeping ammunition organized and accessible without requiring a separate mag pouch. Additional pockets handle documents and smaller accessories. The MOLLE-style base accepts five DAKA Gear Straps that can be repositioned to secure rifle-mounted accessories or reconfigure the interior layout as your loadout changes. Two built-in carry handles cover short-distance transport, while stowable attachment points allow a standard rifle sling to be rigged for over-the-shoulder carry when both hands are needed elsewhere. The case measures 44 inches by 12 inches by 2.5 inches, accommodating most full-length rifles with optics or other rail-mounted additions.
