Description

The Magpul Hunter Lite is built for bolt-action hunters and precision shooters who want a genuinely lighter carry without giving up a rigid, repeatable bedding interface. Compared to the original Hunter 700 Stock, Magpul trimmed roughly 25% of the weight by slimming the profile throughout the stock — a meaningful reduction on a rifle you may be packing into the field all day.

The bedding system pairs an extruded aluminum V-bed block with steel pillars. That combination resists the compression that polymer-only bedding can develop over time, keeping the action seated consistently shot to shot. Because the block is aluminum rather than cast or molded material, it doesn’t flex under the torque applied by scope recoil or heavy bipod loads.

The magazine well accepts AICS-pattern detachable magazines, which broadens your feeding options considerably. Stamped steel over-insertion stops keep each magazine seated at a consistent depth, and the release is reversible so left- and right-handed shooters can position it where thumb access is natural. The oversized trigger guard clears most gloves without forcing you to modify your grip, which matters in cold-weather hunting situations.

Comb height and length of pull are both adjustable, letting you dial in a consistent cheek weld whether you’re running a low-mounted scope or a tall precision optic. Multiple M-LOK slots along the forend allow accessories — a bipod, a hand stop, or a sling attachment — to be mounted without adapters. Integral sling swivel studs are already in place if you prefer a traditional two-point carry. The stock ships in Flat Dark Earth and is made in the USA.
