The Magpul Hunter American stock is built for hunters and field shooters who want a more ergonomic and configurable platform from their Ruger American bolt-action rifle without committing to a chassis system. The factory Ruger American stock is functional but limits how much a shooter can tune fit, and fit matters significantly when you are shooting from field positions rather than a bench.
