Description

The Magpul M-LOK AFG is built around a straightforward premise: a shooter’s hand naturally wants to sit at an angle, and a foregrip that fights that tendency creates fatigue over a long range session or a hard day of work. The angled geometry positions the support hand high along the bore centerline, which keeps the arm in a more neutral, relaxed orientation compared to wrapping a hand around a vertical grip. That alignment also means the support hand is pulling rearward into the shoulder rather than pushing against the rifle, which tightens the overall shooting system and helps settle the muzzle faster between shots.

The M-LOK AFG is the third generation of this platform, and the most significant change from the AFG-2 is the mounting system. Rather than clamping to a Picatinny rail section, it attaches directly to M-LOK slots in the handguard itself, eliminating the need for a rail adapter and dropping the combined weight to 1.2 ounces including all hardware. The grip is also three-quarters of an inch shorter than the AFG-2, which gives it a smaller footprint on the handguard and leaves more rail space free while preserving roughly the same gripping surface area. All mounting hardware for both aluminum and polymer M-LOK handguards ships with the grip, so installation is straightforward. High-strength polymer construction keeps the package light without adding anything that needs maintenance. Made in the USA.
