Description
The Magpul M-LOK Bipod Mount gives shooters a clean, dedicated solution for running a bipod on any M-LOK-compatible handguard or forend without resorting to a Picatinny adapter section. That matters because stacking an adapter between the handguard and the bipod adds height, shifts the bipod’s pivot point away from the bore axis, and introduces one more mechanical joint that can work loose under recoil. By attaching directly to M-LOK slots, this mount keeps the bipod as close to the rail surface as the design allows and removes an extra failure point from the system.
Machined from aluminum with a black anodized finish, the mount is built to the same material standard as the handguards it is designed to work with. Anodizing is harder than the base aluminum and bonds at the surface level rather than sitting on top of it, so the finish resists wear at the attachment interface where metal-on-metal contact is unavoidable during installation and removal cycles.
The intended use case is any rifle or chassis build where the handguard carries M-LOK slots but the shooter wants to run a Harris-style or similar swivel-stud bipod rather than a dedicated M-LOK bipod. The mount accepts a standard swivel stud, which keeps it compatible with a wide range of existing bipods the shooter may already own. That makes it a practical upgrade path rather than a commitment to a new bipod ecosystem.
For prone or bench work where a stable platform is the priority, a direct-mount solution like this is worth the small added weight over an improvised fix. The part number is MAG609-BLK.
