Description

The Magpul M-LOK Extended Cantilever Scout Mount is built for shooters who run a weapon-mounted light and want it positioned as far forward as the handguard allows. Moving the light toward the muzzle reduces the cone of shadow that a shorter mounting position creates, which matters in close-quarters or low-light work where a dark ring in your beam can obscure a target at conversational distance.

The extended cantilever design keeps that forward placement low-profile rather than adding unnecessary height above the rail. Magpul engineered the geometry specifically around their MOE SL, Zhukov, and MOE M-LOK shotgun forends, and it works equally well on compatible aluminum M-LOK handguards — so it carries over cleanly between platforms. The mount attaches directly to M-LOK slots using cammed T-nuts and includes recoil and impact mitigation lugs, which keep the light from walking under repeated firing rather than relying on torque alone to hold position.

Compatibility covers SureFire Scout Light and Streamlight ProTac rail lights. Note that the SureFire DS00 Dual Activation Switch and M600DF Scout Light are not compatible with this mount, and it will not seat correctly on Bushmaster ACR handguards. If your rifle has a railed gas block with a folding front sight, check clearances before committing — the mount is optimized around a factory A2 front sight base, and an oversized gas block or tall folding sight can create a fitment conflict depending on its profile. Backward compatibility with MOE-pattern accessories is available through optional adapters. Machined from aluminum with a black anodized finish. Made in the USA.
