Description

The Magpul MVG is a compact vertical foregrip built for shooters who want a more aggressive support-hand position without sacrificing rail space or adding significant bulk to their setup. It mounts directly to M-LOK slots on either aluminum or polymer handguards, so no Picatinny adapter is required — the hardware to do the job is included in the package.

The grip’s relatively short vertical profile keeps the support hand closer to the bore centerline than a full-length foregrip would. That geometry makes it easier to maintain consistent pressure across shot strings and to move the muzzle efficiently between targets, because the hand is working against the bore axis rather than well below it. The design is specifically shaped to work with the thumb-break technique, where the thumb wraps over the front of the handguard rather than encircling the grip, though it functions equally well as a conventional vertical foregrip.

Magpul’s TSP texture, combined with front and rear serrations, gives the surface enough bite to stay useful with wet or gloved hands without being uncomfortable during extended handling. The grip is molded from high-strength polymer, keeping weight low enough that it adds almost nothing to the overall balance of the rifle. The Flat Dark Earth finish is Magpul’s own FDE, consistent with other components in their accessory line if you’re building to a coordinated color scheme. Made in the USA.
