Description
The Magpul M-LOK Dovetail Adapter gives shooters who run M-LOK handguards a clean, repeatable way to mount RRS Dovetail Standard-compatible accessories — bipods, tripods, and similar support equipment — without drilling into their rifle or reaching for a separate rail section. The adapter mounts directly into M-LOK slots, so the interface is flush and low-profile rather than stacked above the handguard’s surface.
Magpul machines the adapter from aluminum and finishes it in a Mil-Spec hard anodized black. That process hardens the surface well beyond the base material, which matters on a part that takes the mechanical stress of a loaded bipod under recoil. Speaking of recoil: the design incorporates dedicated mitigation lugs that bear against the handguard and resist the rearward pull every time the rifle cycles, keeping the adapter and whatever is attached to it from walking out of position over a long shooting session. Multiple drilled and tapped hole locations along the body do double duty — they allow hardware to be positioned at different points for accessory fitment, and they physically limit how far an attached accessory can travel fore or aft, giving you a consistent reference each time you remount.
The edges are beveled rather than squared off, so the adapter doesn’t catch on slings or gear when the rifle is slung or cased. The 2-slot footprint keeps the adapter compact enough to leave room for other accessories on a mid-length or shorter handguard without dominating the available real estate.
