Description

The Magpul MOE 1911 Grip Panels are a straightforward, functional replacement for shooters who find the factory wood or plastic grips on their Government-model 1911 adequate in principle but wanting in actual retention under stress. Magpul built these with direct input from their own instructors, which shaped the most important design decision here: the diamond cross-section geometry. Rather than a flat panel with surface stippling, the diamond profile gives each grip a slight ridge that resists rotational movement in the hand during recoil. That matters most on a single-action pistol where a consistent grip angle translates directly into consistent trigger pull and shot-to-shot index.

Construction is reinforced polymer, which keeps weight down compared to aluminum or G10 alternatives and resists the kind of impact damage that can crack thinner materials. The texture is aggressive enough for bare hands under field conditions without being abrasive against cover garments. A relief cut at the magazine release means you don’t have to shift your grip to drop a magazine, and the panels are cut to clear ambidextrous thumb safeties, so they work on modified or factory configurations without gunsmith fitting.
