Description

The MOE-K is Magpul’s answer to a specific ergonomic problem: what happens to grip geometry when a shorter stock or a compact platform pulls the shooting hand closer to the body. Standard A2-style grips are designed around a particular stock length and shoulder position, and when that geometry shifts, the wrist ends up in a more canted, less neutral position. The MOE-K addresses this by steepening the grip angle relative to a traditional A2, bringing the wrist into a straighter alignment that reduces fatigue and gives the trigger hand more leverage during recoil management on short-configuration rifles.

The design is deliberately minimal. There is no backstrap beavertail, which meaningfully reduces the grip’s outer circumference — a practical benefit for shooters with smaller hands or those who find that a bulkier grip pushes the trigger finger into an awkward contact point. One-piece reinforced polymer construction keeps weight down and eliminates the moving parts or storage cavities found on larger grip designs, which also means nothing to snag or catch on gear during a draw.

Installation is a direct drop-in replacement for any standard AR-15/M4 pistol grip, and all mounting hardware ships with the grip. The Flat Dark Earth finish matches Magpul’s established FDE palette across their accessory line, which matters if you are building to a consistent color scheme. Made in the U.S.A.
